It really takes very little time!
No special equipment required, however we recommend some useful tools:
pry bar, socket wrench, grease gun, trestles/wooden blocks and PPE (safety glasses, gloves, safety footwear).
Lift the machine, loosen the track tensioning mechanism by opening the grease valve located in the frame behind the protective cover and retract the idler wheel, applying pressure on the track, using a lever to help.
The track should be completely loosened.
Remove the old track from the undercarriage.
Place the new track on the drive wheel, idler wheel and around the undercarriage rollers, using the necessary lifting tools if required.
Make sure that the drive wheel teeth are engaged with the track links and ensure that the track guide is aligned with the idler wheel.
Activate the track tensioning mechanism with the grease gun and make sure that the track reaches the correct tension.
Advance the track and make sure it rotates around the undercarriage without unexpected jerking or vibrations.
